VFAPU has been hard at work in the last 6 months, from April to September. Our VFAPU scouts, Zambezi Horse Trails and our volunteers have patrolled a total of 12,694 kms!

There have been 3,371 combined incidents recorded, with 607 arrests and 801 snares recovered. VFAPU are incredibly proud of our team, partners and volunteers and of the fantastic work that they do in helping to protect the Victoria Falls National park and surrounding area.

We continue to also work with the community during this incredibly stressful time under COVID, to ensure that we identify the route causes of poaching and then address these with local community leaders.
