The dedication VFAPU has to its cause is extraordinary. The anti poaching unit based in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, with operations in Zambezi National Park and adjacent Victoria Falls National Park, has had phenomenal success since its inception and setup in 1999.

The small but dedicated unit, made up of 17 specially trained scouts, under Operations Director Charles Brightman, patrols 7 days a week. Their patrol area is the 50 square kilometres that surround the town of Victoria Falls.
